President & Founder
As the President and Founder of Flanner Financial Group, George Flanner brings over 25 years of experience of investment strategy and financial planning, giving clients confidence in their future. This includes retirement planning, investment strategies, tax reduction methods, insurance concepts, social security benefits and risk management. George offers a holistic approach to financial and life planning to make sure that his clients make the most of investment opportunities in the market and maximize benefits that are available to individuals.
With an educator mindset, George offers regular educational opportunities so that clients have the foundational knowledge to make the most of their financial future.
George was born, raised and educated in Toledo, Ohio. He has been married for over 46 years to his wonderful wife Grace (Marinelli), and they are blessed with nine children and ten grandchildren together. He enjoys time with family, boating, golf and tennis and has been a volunteer chaplain at the Lucas County Jail for over 10 years.
